Monday, 8th February, we received the visit of Tânia Regina Lopes, Journalist and adivisor of the squire Mr. José Aparecido Longatto, president of the city council from Piracicaba. With Tânia come to the farm too, the cinematographer Marcio Bissoli, and the driver Jorge Rodrigues, to do a documentary that will be show the reality of the Corumbataí River, that passed inside of the city of Santa Gertrudes. Monday 11th January, we will have one more time, the pleasure to receive in the Santa Gertrudes Farm the group of students from the Texas A&M University, my friends "Texas Aggies" that come to Brazil all the years to learn more about our agriculture. In this trip, they visit too, the Santa Gertrudes Farm, to know all our importance in the history of the state of São Paulo and of Brazil. Tuesday, June 16th, we received the pupils of the College “Cidade São Paulo”, located in the our Capital, São Paulo City. They came in order to study the “Coffee Cycle in Brazilian History”. Our farm is a great place to understand how important was the “coffee cycle” in the beginning of the XX century in São Paulo State. The pupils did our pedagogic tour visiting all your installations and learning our history. They had lunch with us and before leaving they had a snack. On August 21th, we received in our main house 56 students and 3 teachers from College Koelle High School located in Rio Claro City. It was planned this visit in this time of the year because the pupils were studying the “Coffee Cycle” in Brazilian History. They visit the installations of the farm and received all the information about the coffee culture in the farm and its importance in Brazilian History. After the tour they had a delicious snack.
